Multiple Teams · Varsity Softball Defeats North Ridgeville, 7-4

The Varsity softball team jumped on the Rangers with 3 runs in the 1st inning and led the entire game for a 7-4 victory.  Stephanie Randar pitched a complete game, scattering 5 hits, for her 3rd win of the season.  Kylie Brown and Audrey Lyle each had 2 singles, while Katie Lowe smacked a single through the left side of the infield to drive in 2 important runs in the 5th inning.  Paige Bowman added an infield single for an RBI and Megan Fleming scored 2 runs.  Madi Mulder had 6 putouts at third, while Sara Massa had 2 putouts in right field.  Selene Cerankosky made a diving stop at shortstop that resulted in a key out at third base.  She also had a single, a stolen base, and 2 runs scored.

The win raises their overall record to 4-4 and their SWC record to 3-3.
