Three Demons Commit to their Future Schools

 

 

Three Westlake Football Demons made known their futures today as they committed to their respective schools.  Jackson Gregory signed his letter of intent to the University of Louisville while the University of Akron gained two Demons as Kevin Walls and JJ Coleman committed to the Zips.

 

JJ Coleman, RB-University of Akrom

JJ, the son of Nanci and James Coleman, has accepted a preferred walk on spot for the University of Akron Zips. JJ led the Demons in rushing each of the last two season with over 2000 yards rushing in those two seasons.  JJ has been an Honorable Mention and 1st Team All SWC player during his career.  JJ plans to major in Business.

 

 

Kevin Walls, WR-University of Akron

Kevin, the son of Renee and Phillip and the brother of Shawn and Phillip, will sign his National Letter of Intent to the University of Akron and join the Zips football program.  Kevin was a 3 year letter winner for the Demons in both Football and Track and will hopefully become a 4 year letter winner in track this spring.  He was named First Team All SWC in Track in the 100M Dash, 200M Dash, the 4X100 Relay and the 4X200 Relay.  He was also an All Region selection in the 4X200 Relay. In football, Kevin led the Demons in receiving yards and receiving touchdowns this past season   He carries a 3.5 GPA and plans to major in Cybersecurity.

 

Jackson Gregory, OL-University of Louisville

Jackson, the son of Lisa and Tim and the brother of Connor and Taylor will become a Cardinal as he heads to the University of Louisville and the Atlantic Coast Conference.  Jackson was the rare 4 year letter winner in football.  He was also a 2 year letter winner in lacrosse.  Jackson has been a 2 Time All SWC Honorable Mention and 2nd Team All SWC during his career.  He played both offensive and defensive line for the Demons and will concentrate on the offensive side of the ball at Louisville.  Jackson plans to major in Exercise Science while at Louisville.
