Matalavage to play at Lake Erie College
Senior girls’ basketball player, Abby Matalavage, has signed a National Letter of Intent to continue her academic and athletic career at Lake Erie College and become a member of the Storm women’s basketball team.
Matalavage, the daughter of Kristin and Tony Matalavage had a great senior year for the district semi-finalist Demons.

Abby shot 47% from beyond the arc. Her athletic prowess stood out on the court as witnessed by the diversity in her game.
Abby had a career game against Berea-Midpark when she scored 26 points.
“Abby was the heart and soul of this year’s team. She goes 100%, 100% of the time!” said Swanson Haan about her senior.
Abby was named as a 2nd Team All SWC Player this season and was Honorable Mention All SWC in her junior year. She also won the team award last season for Most Improved Player. She has played her AAU basketball for the MAC program each of the last 3 summers.
