3 Demons Selected to Play in Hockey All Star Game at the Q!

Three of the Westlake Demons Ice Hockey players have been selected play in the GCHSHSL All Star Game to be held at Quicken Loans Arena on Sunday, March 8th at 12:30 pm.  Nate Greenberg, Chris Humer and Joe Guay will represent the Green and White in this All Star Game.

Hockey team wins again!

The Demon Ice Hockey team advances to the OHSAA District quarter finals with an 11-1 demolishing of Brooklyn on Saturday at the Brooklyn Ice Center.  Nate Greenberg and Adam Fife both registered hat tricks while Chris Humer, Nick Schmidt, Ellis Langermeier and Matt Lechner all chipped in a goal.  Joe Guay played his usual solid

Lady Demons Move On

The Westlake Lady Demon basketball team cruised to a 71-10 victory today in the WAC against Lincoln West.  The team was led by Monica Fury with 15 points and Michelle Appel and Erin O’Neill each chipped in 12.  The team advances to the sectional final to be played on Thursday night at 7 pm in

Even though the schools are closed today (Friday), the home boys basketball SWC Tripleheader vs. Brecksville and the SWC JV Wrestling Championships being held at Amherst today are still on as scheduled.  Also, the SWC Varsity Wrestling Championships, the District Swimming Championships, the girls basketball OHSAA first round game at home at 1 pm and

Night of Champions-Friday, February 20th

The Demon Athletic Department has declared Friday’s boys basketball game “A Night of Champions”.  We will be introducing our SWC Champion Boys Golf, Ice Hockey and Girls Basketball teams during the game.  Varsity tip time is 7:30 pm.

Demon Hockey Advances

The Westlake Demon Hockey team advance to the second round of the OHSAA tournament last night with a definitive 9-1 trouncing of Lakewood.  The Demons next face off against Brooklyn High School at 5 pm on Saturday at the Brooklyn Ice Center.  Should the Demons win that game, they look to get another possible rematch

Lady Demons Clinch at least share of SWC Title

For the first time since,2008, the Lady Demon basketball team has a new name:  Champions!  With their 59-46 victory last Saturday over long time nemesis, Berea-Midpark and their sound defeat of North Olmsted on Wednesday night, the Lady Demons head into Saturday’s regular season finale against Brecksville needing a win to clinch the outright title.
