The Westlake JV Boys Basketball Team won on the road tonight at North Ridgeville 51-38.

The Demons caught fire in the 1st quarter with five 3 pointers and played great defense with 5 steals. Basheer Alramahi scored 10 points in the quarter to set the pace and take a 21-8 lead.

Westlake continued its tough defense with 3 steals in the 2nd quarter and Michael Stenger shot a 3 pointer as the clock wound down to take a 15 point lead of 37-22 into halftime.

It was the Demons who controlled the second half of the game and secured the victory over The Rangers.

Westlake had 11 players in the scoring column. Alramani led the team in scoring with 12 points, followed by Adonis Shelby with 9, Steven Hotz 6, Greyson Elyaderani 5, Jack Klessel 4, Tim Rence, Joshua Bauer and Michael Stenger scored 3 each. Will Ostrowski, Julian Coleman and Ivan Tucholski chipped in with 2 each.

The Demons are 5-4 (4-2 conference) and play at home on Friday against Amherst.
