The Westlake varsity boys basketball team lost on the road last night to North Ridgeville 64-73.
Westlake took a 32 – 27 halftime lead, but North Ridgeville used a 10 point advantage in the 3rd quarter to outlast the Demons. Westlake closed the gap to 67- 64 with less than a minute left on Dylan Bednar’s put back, but they were unable to knot it up moments later, as Jacob May’s 3 point shot fell short.
The Demons were led in scoring by Anthony Rego with 21 points and Joey Geagea with 16 points.
The 3-9 (3-5) Demons hosts Amherst Steele at home on this Friday.
