Pitching and defense again led the way in the game two win over Orange to complete a Senior Day sweep for the Demons. But the offense didn’t shy away from doing its part reaching double digits in runs and hits.

Tol (5IP) and Keir (2IP) toed the rubber for the Horns and combined on a six hitter, all singles. They walked only two and fanned five on the day. They threw 64 strikes in 109 pitches.

Defensively, Westlake committed one error. The day’s web gem was turned in on the first plate appearance of the game when Zach Regas made a running, diving grab on a fly ball near the RF foul line.

The Demon offense was paced by Kris Regas with three hits, including a double, three RBI and a pair of runs scored. Tucholski recorded a pair of hits. Zach Regas scored four times swiping three bags in the process.

The win brought the Demons record to 9-10. Avon visits The Yard Monday at 4:45. See ya at The Yard!
