The WHS Girls Bowling team capped off their regular season play with another victory, this time in the Southwest Conference (SWC) Post Season Tournament. This victory, coupled with their earlier victory in the SWC Preview Tournament, means the WHS Girls are the SWC Champions for the 2018-2019 season – a first-ever accomplishment for this 3-year old program. Leading the team was Senior Peyton Hedges, who also earned the SWC Girls Champion Award with her All-Conference high combined series of 514 + 520 = 1034. Senior Charlotte Button (495) Sophomore Taylor Hedges (489), and Junior Jenny Wisneiwksi (433) all added strong performances, as well. Rounding out the scoring were Senior Eve Anitas, Junior Emily Hyland, and Sophomore Gabrielle Hansen combining for a 419 series. Next up are the State post-season tournaments, where the Demons are hoping to return to the State Finals again this year, starting with the Sectional Tournament on Sunday Feb 17th at Brunswick Zone Lanes in North Ridgeville.
