Hunter Solecki named 2nd Team All State

Senior Hunter Solecki continued the accolades for the Demon Athletic program by becoming the 5th athlete named to an All-State Team this spring.  Hunter garnered 2nd Team All State by the OHSLA Coaches Association as a Long Stick Middie.  Hunter set a Demon school record in groudballs this past season. Lacrosse Game to resume today

The boys lacrosse game at Hawken that began last night will conclude tonight starting at 7pm at Hawken.  At the time of the postponement the Demons trailed Hawken 4-1 about midway through the first quarter. All tickets from last night will be honored.

Boys Lacrosse continues on in tournament

The Boys Lacrosse team will take to the road for their regional quarterfinal matchup on Wednesday night at 7 pm as they will visit Hawken.  During the regular season, the Demons defeated Hawken 12-11 in a great game at home.  All tickets will be $6 at the gate. Should the Demons win they will play

All Region Lacrosse Teams Announced

The OHSLA announced the All Region Teams over the weekend. Two Demons were named First Team All Region as Defenseman Alex Dvorak and Long Stick Middie Hunter Solecki were named to the first team. Second Team Selections were: Attackman Nate Greenberg Middie Adam Fife Honorable Mention Selections were: Longstick Middie Trey Bialowas  

History to Be Made Friday Night!

This Friday Night, history will be made as the Demon Lacrosse team will host Avon Lake in an OHSLA second round matchup at Lou Duchez Field on the campus of Westlake High School.  This marks the first time in history that lacrosse will be played at the WHS stadium as typcially they play their games

Lacrosse will open post season at Home on Friday

The boys lacrosse team will open post season play on Friday  with a home game at Read Field vs. the winner of the game between Lake Catholic and Avon Lake.  Game time will be announced later today.

Boys Lacrosse loses heartbreaker, 11-10 on Senior Night

Despite a big night by senior Nate Greenberg, the varsity lacrosse team fell to Kenston in a great battle, 11-10.  Trailing by 3 with under 5 minutes to play, the Demons tacked on two goals and had a few opportunities to tie it up but it wasn’t to be as the Bombers held on and

LAX Senior Night Tonight

The Demon Lacrosse team will play their senior night game tonight with JV starting at 5 pm followed by Senior Night introductions and the varsity game at 7 pm.  Please come on out and see our seniors off!

LAX takes on defending State Runnerups

Tonight, Tuesday May 5th, the Westlake Demons Lacrosse team will try to bounce back from a disappointing loss against University School by taking on another Northeast Division 2 rival and defending state runnerup, Chagrin Falls.  JV action begins at 5 pm and V action will take place at 7.  Tickets are 6$ for adults, 4$

Home LAX Saturday Night vs. University School

The Demons will host US on Saturday night at Read Field.  The game times are 5 pm JV and 7 pm varsity.  US is the team that denied the Demons a final four berth last year. They hope to see the fans out on what should be an awesome night for lacrosse.
