LBMS Track & Field Uniform Orders due March 21st!

LBMS Track & Field uniform & Spirit Wear are available for online ordering through Monday, March 21st. Each athlete needs to order a uniform top (tank top for boys; t-shirt for girls). This is a new design/ color for the 2016 season, so all athletes will need this new top. Athletes will wear their gym shorts

Sedlak finishes 14th in OHSAA Championships

Mike Sedlak, a sophomore, finished 14th in the Pole Vault at the OHSAA Championships on Saturday at Jesse Owens Stadium in Columbus, Ohio. Mike cleared his opening vault of 13′ but missed all 3 of his attempts at 13’6″.  The winning vault was Matt Peare of North Canton Hoover at 16’4″.

Sedlak prepares for OHSAA State Championships

Pole Vaulter, Michael Sedlak, hopes to soar to new heights including hopefully challenging the school record as he prepares to head to Columbus and the Jesse Owen Track And Field complex on the campus of The Ohio State University this Saturday. Michael was an all SWC performer for the Demons and looks to make history.

Sedlak Qualifies for State in Pole Vault

Mike Sedlak of the Westlake Boys Track Team tied for 3rd place in the pole vault yesterday with a vault of 13’9″.  This earns him a bid to the Ohio State Track & Field Meet.  Mike will be competing at 12PM next Saturday June 4th.

Reilly and Sedlak Qualify for Boys Track Regionals

Will Reilly placed 4th in the 110 m high hurdles this past Wednesday to qualify for the Regional Track Meet.  Also qualifying for the Westlake Boys is Mike Sedlak, placing 2nd in the pole vault competition with an impressive vault of 14’3”.  Both boys will be competing this Wednesday (5/27) at Amherst Steele High School for

LBMS Track & Field: Girls are SWC CHAMPS; Boys take 2nd overall

Congratulations to both LBMS Track & Field teams for a successful SWC meet last Friday.  The girls are your 2015 SWC Champions, scoring 119 points and holding off 2nd place Brecksville (97.50 points).  The boys finished 2nd, scoring 91 points.
