Girls Take 6th at Districts

The girls track and field team wrapped up their District meet last week with several great performances despite a rainy and cold Friday. Girls T&F Compete at Day One of Districts

The girls track and field team began their District competition with many fine performances. Leading off the scoring for the team included the 4×800 group of Teagan Walsh, Erica Francesconi, Alexis Sole, and Olivia Irwin who set a season PR in the event and narrowly missed a Regional qualifying spot with their 6th place finish.

LBMS Boys are SWC Champs; Girls Finish 3rd Overall

SWC Middle School Championships were held at Amherst High School on Tuesday, May 2. The LBMS Boys team finished as SWC Champs, while the girls finished third out of ten teams.  A total team effort was given with many impressive finishes! LBMS Track & Field Teams Defeat Olmsted Falls; Heberle, Bednar, & Kontak to Record Board

Congratulations to both teams on defeating Olmsted Falls at tonight’s meet.  The boys won 82-41 and the girls won 87- 36.
